to have their names placed on the list if they are duly qualified. Some confusion has arisen occasionally through persons neglecting to see if their names are on Part 1 of the voters' list, and concluding upon the examination of part 3 that they have been omitted.

Part 1 of the voters' list includes the names of all persons who are entitled to vote at municipal elections and elections to the Assembly.

Part 2 contains the names of persons en-titled to vote at municipal elections only; and

Part 3 contains the names of persons en-titled to vote at elections to the Assembly only.

As an election to the Assembly is ordinarily held only once in four years, the printing of Part 3 has been dispensed with until notice has been given by the chief election officer to the clerk of the municipality to proceed with the printing. This is done wherever a vacancy occurs, or it is known that owing to the expiry of the term of the legislature an election must be held during the year.
