  1. Miller's Thumb. Blob. Cottus ictalops (Rafinesque).—Found in only a few streams in the district.

Suborder ANACANTHINI.
GADIDAE. (Codfishes.)

  1. Burbot. Ling. Lota maculosa (Lesueur).—This species is common in Lake Ontario and is occasionally taken by the net fishermen in this district.
