EDMUND OLDHAM, AI.D., Chats-
worth, Ont., «-as born oil the
iith of July-, iS59, at Kidder-
niinster, Eli,. His father Avas the late
Professor John K. Oldhaiii, of Man-
cliester, hiig., and Kingston, Ont. He
received his earl}- education at Woolwich
and Manchester, and came with his
parents ill 1S74 to Niagara Falls, \-here
they lived three years, afterwards mov-
ing to Kingston. He attended the
Collegiate Institute there, and having
matriculated in inedicine, spent four
years at Queen's University, and gra-
duated Avith lionors in 1SSi. Dr. Old-
liam was the first demonstrator of

anatomy- of the Ladies' College in Kingston, and also demonstrator to the R. C. P. and S. in the session of iSSi. He commenced practice at Williams-ford, where lie remained a rear, and then removed to Chatsworth, AVIlere lie has built tip a very large and rei nuierative practice, and is highly respected by all classes. Dr. Oldham is au Episcopalian and church warden. In poli-

tics lie is Conservative and vice-

presi-dent of the North Grey ConservatiVe Association. He was reeve of the township in 1887-88. He was married June 3rd, 1SS4, to Alan-, second daughter of Alex. Ramage, Cheslev-, Ont.
